Siemens prescribes Egypt model of electricity solution for Nigeria

One of the nation’s global powerhouses, Siemens Nigeria, has prescribed that Nigeria must model Egypt’s method of power generation in order to curtail the erratic supply of electricity in the country.

Currently, Egypt has embarked on the construction of a gas-fired power plant which is posed to be the largest in the world; producing enough power for millions of citizens and providing cost savings in terms of expensive imported fuel oils.

Siemens Nigeria has also indicated interest in piloting and support this project for the Lagos State Goverment, in its quest to achieve its power target of 3000MW.
